After many weeks calling dealers here, there and just about everywhere. I finally found one that would work with me! A new car sold at MSRP!! No crazy markup like these savage dealers in NJ. Who wanted, 5k, 7k over MSRP. (Image for buffer and suspense)

I think I’ve led you on enough, I have confirmation of my 2016 Focus RS in Stealth Gray!!

Don’t worry, the bimmer is still safe for now. I don’t plan on selling my baby anytime soon.

There was a dealer here in Madison, WI that had an incoming fully-loaded black Focus RS that hadn’t yet been spoken for and they were willing to sell at MSRP.

Since I was in the market for a fun awd year-round car to replace my 135is and Grand Cherokee, I thought about it, but I really didn’t want another black car (my 135is is black and I only got it because it was sitting on the lot at my local dealer ready to go), and I didn’t necessarily want to spend $40k, so I said no thanks.

Instead I bought an E92 335i xDrive M Sport coupe, sold the Jeep, and I’m turning in the 135is (it’s a lease) once the transporter carrying the E92 gets to me.

Honestly the more I see pics of the RS the more I feel ok with that choice. It’s cool for what it is but it’s just not quite my jam for my one and only car.
